ZimSEF 2012 - 2015 COMMUNITY PROJECT - ZimSEF LIBRARY & SOLAR PROJECT
In 2012 the ZimSEF Library was established. The space is used to conduct extra classes to aid the children in transitioning back into school. Many of the kids in the program have been out of school for long periods of time, if they have attended at all. This is also where the distribution of food stuffs to our beneficiaries is staged. It ensures class attendance is high.
In 2015, the ZimSEF Solar Project was completed. The Project saw the installation a solar system at the Library site. Access to electricity within Hatcliffe has allowed our partner organisation, YASD, to have a space in Hatcliffe out of which they can run their vital programs. You can check out the great work YASD do through their website: www.yasdzim.org.
